An Understated Dominance Chapter 1377 by Marina Vittori

With Welch Senior’s condition now stable, Alistair grew cautious with Dustin. He kept a close eye on Dustin, ensuring that someone was constantly monitoring his every move.

At that moment, Dustin was following Eleanor as they ventured out to explore the streets near the Welch residence.

The Welch family owned many businesses in the area, from bars and clubs to hotels and casinos. They were the undisputed rulers of the local entertainment scene, amassing incredible wealth through their diverse ventures.

After a tiring day of exploration, Eleanor and Dustin went to a fancy restaurant nearby to grab a meal.

But, as they settled into their seats, they heard footsteps approaching their table. Ezra walked over carrying a big bouquet, his eyes filled with affection.

“What are you doing here?” Eleanor’s face immediately stiffened upon seeing him. Without wasting a moment, Ezra dropped to his knee. He looked sincere as he said, “Eleanor, I’m sorry. I know I was wrong. Please, forgive me.”

“What?” The sudden turn of events startled Eleanor. She hadn’t expected Ezra, who usually cared about his pride and manliness, to kneel and apologize publicly. His actions left her feeling uncomfortable.

“Are you … Have you lost your mind? What are you doing?” Eleanor shrunk deeper into her chair. She was embarrassed by the public display.

“Eleanor, I’m serious.” Ezra stayed on both knees, holding the bouquet.

“I know I screwed up, and I deeply regret it. I’m begging you to give me one more chance, just one! Let me show you my true feelings! “Eleanor, I love you with all my heart! I can’t stand being without you. Please, forgive me!”

His heartfelt words stirred not only Eleanor but also the other diners in the restaurant.

“Humph! Now you realize your mistakes? Where were you all this time? Let me make it clear, I’m not forgiving you, scumbag!”

Eleanor crossed her arms, feigning indifference. However, Dustin, seated across from her, could sense a subtle softening in her tone.

Ezra, heedless of his image, refused to rise from the floor. His bold move was a blow to his dignity, part of his strategic plan to win her heart.

“Eleanor! If you don’t forgive me today, I’ll stay right here on my knees until I can’t feel my legs anymore!” Ezra declared it with a look of determination.

“If you want to kneel, go ahead. It’s none of my concern,” Eleanor shot back, preparing to leave. Seeing that, Ezra quickly grabbed her leg. He pleaded, “Eleanor! I was wrong. I’m truly sorry! Please don’t leave me!”

“What are you doing? Let go of me!” His sudden action took Eleanor aback. She attempted to pull away, but she couldn’t break free.

“Miss, this young man recognizes his mistakes. You should give him a chance. “Yeah, that’s right. Couples argue all the time. If he’s willing to change, that’s a good thing.”
